4D 6.7 for Mac OS X - Free to all 4D 6.7 Customers!

25th June 2001, Wilmslow, UK. 4D UK, publishers of the award-winning 4th Dimension (4D) database development environment and WebSTAR Server Suite, announced today that it will be providing native Mac OS X upgrade versions of its 4D 6.7 products free of charge to registered 4D 6.7 product owners.

"We want to support Apple's move to fast track Mac OS X uptake and we decided the best way to do this was to provide a free of charge upgrade from 4D 6.7," says Rob Wylie, 4D UK's General Manager. "As soon as our Mac OS X compatible products are available, 4D 6.7 applications on existing Mac OS versions will run natively on Mac OS X without modification."

4D 6.7.5 for Mac OS X will be available for free download to all registered 4D 6.7 product owners. The beta release of 4D Server 6.7.5 for Mac OS X has already been released to 4D Solutions Partners and during Q3 of this year, 4D will begin releasing Mac OS X native versions of its Product Line starting with 4D Server 6.7.5.
