New Plug-in Provides Spreadsheet and Data Presentation Capabilities for 4D Database Applications.

10th July 2002, Wilmslow, UK. 4D UK, distributors of the award-winning 4D database development environment and 4D WebSTAR Server Suite, today announced the immediate release of 4D View - the new spreadsheet and data presentation plug-in for 4D.

Available for 4D and 4D Server applications, the 4D View plug-in provides spreadsheet functions including calculations, simulations, projections and analyses. In addition, data presentation processes such as programming dynamic input interfaces can be done quickly and easily.

A wide range of advanced features enable data to be displayed in a variety of forms including printable lists, dynamic calculation lists and input formats. 4D View also achieves compatibility between 4D Calc and AreaList Pro by automatically re-mapping the commands used by these plug-ins, eliminating the need for re-coding.
