4D WebSTAR 5.1.1 outshines Apache, iTools and Mac OS X Server in Germany's Macwelt magazine.

4D WebSTAR V 5.1.1 was given the highest rating by Macwelt magazine in a comparative review of Web servers for Mac OS X in their September 2002 issue. Macwelt, the leading German Mac magazine, compared the Web serving capabilities of 4D WebSTAR V 5.1.1 with those of iTools 6.5.1, Mac OS X Server 10.1.4, and Apache on OS X.

As an overall product, 4D WebSTAR V received five out of six "mice" from Macwelt. The comparison focused on overall Web server usability, including ease of installation and set up. 4D WebSTAR V 5.1.1 received additional praise for easy and delegable administration, stability and performance. Comparatively, on a grading scale of 1.0 to 6.0 with 1.0 as the best possible result, 4D WebSTAR V 5.1.1 received a grade of 2.3, edging out iTools at 2.4, Mac OS X Server at 2.7, and Apache on Mac OS X at 3.4.
